About the Series

We are planning a year-long series of commemorative lectures as a birthday present to Jane. Lectures will take place in cities around the world and we invite you to check this site often for lectures near you.

Location: All New York lectures will be held at the landmark Eldridge Street Synagogue, known as the Museum at Eldridge Street, 12 Eldridge Street between Canal and Division.

Time: 6:30-8:30.

Cost: Free.

Ron Shiffman, Mindy Thompson Fullilove, & Sandy Ikeda | July 13, 2016 | New York City - Ron is a planner, architect, NYC community development leader, and Jane Jacobs Medal winner. He is co-sponsored by Pratt Center for Community Development. Dr. Mindy Thompson Fullilove is a board-certified psychiatrist who is interested in the links between the environment and mental health. She's professor of clinical psychiatry at Columbia and author of "Root Shock”. Sandy is an Economist and Professor of Economics at Purchase College.
